Dr. Vitale is a veteran engineer with over 52 years of experience in the gas industry, including Vice President and Chief Engineer over Production and Engineering. He worked domestically and internationally as a consultant for the gas industry for more than 20 years, particularly in LNG import, export, and peak shaving facilities around the world. He played a significant role in directing the Gas Technology Institute's “Industry Technology Advisory Committee” and the Institute of Gas Technology's “Sustaining Membership Program,” running the research funding of hydrogen production and fuel cell development and demonstration.
