This course is the sixth learning unit associated with the topic of the investigation and rehabilitation of constructed buildings and structures. The course includes a detailed discussion of the deterioration of building envelope systems including roofing and masonry facades. The course includes a discussion of the many different types of roofing and masonry facade systems and the corresponding many sources of damage, as well as methods of repair.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
