This course presents the assessment and evaluation methods and tool associated with structural forensic investigations. The course concentrates on a discussion of the investigative methods and tools associated with the determination of the load carrying capacity of a structure and the assessment of deteriorated concrete and steel structures. This course also discusses the evaluation methods of structural failure investigations and the tools associated with these same branches of forensic structural engineering.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
