The US Department of the Air Force (USAF) maintains and constructs an international system of aircraft facilities. In order to participate in construction projects involving USAF aircraft facilities, all design professionals should have an in-depth understanding of the special fire protection requirements. This online course identifies the specific fire protection engineering and design criteria required in the construction of new facilities or in alteration of certain existing facilities. The course materials are based entirely on USAF Engineering Technical Letter (ETL) 02-15: Fire Protection Engineering Criteria - New Aircraft Facilities.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
