The material presented in this course concentrates on the requirements of insurance underwriters, or property protection services, such as Factory Mutual (or FM) and Global Asset Protection Services (or GAPS). This is because the firewall requirements of companies such as FM and GAPS provide guidance with constructability issues and structural engineering design aspects of firewalls that are not always available in the building codes or standards.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
