Electric lighting is an important part of our lives and also represents a significant part of electric power consumption. This two-hour course describes the US lighting market and the application of various forms of electric lighting. Besides the fundamentals of lighting, we will explain design characteristics, types of lighting (incandescent, fluorescent, LED, etc.), lighting controls, and applications.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
