The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC) issued a Regulatory Guide to assist operators and constructors of commercial Nuclear Power Plants is dedicating commercial grade items for Nuclear Safety Related use. Regulatory Guide 1.164 was issued in June 2107.
Good industry practice is to review the referenced documents annually to be familiar with the requirements.
The basis of this course is Regulatory Guide 1.164 and EPRI Report NP-5652 which are available free for public viewing on the USNRC web site.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
