Ellen Huang, PE Low Impact Development (LID) is defined as an innovative land planning and design approach which seeks to maintain a sites pre-development ecological and hydrological function through the protection, enhancement, or mimicry of natural processes. This course covers the various aspects of low impact development which promotes the adoption of best design, construction, and management practices for stormwater management. This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of course materials.
