This online course presents information on water quality standards and design criteria for water treatment processes. The contents cover criteria to be followed in determining the necessity for and the extent of treatment, and procedures applicable to the planning of water treatment projects. The course materials are based entirely on the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 3-230-08A) of the U.S. Department of Defense: Water Supply, Water Treatment. This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of course materials.
