Mr. Yung is a graduate of the University of Missouri and is a Registered Professional Engineer. He has performed design engineering, failure analysis, R&D, testing, manufacturing, and both hands-on testing and manufacturing. He has worked in the Valve industry supporting petro-chem, electrical power, mining, and metal processing; as well as optics (UV, visible & IR), oil field products, aerospace, instruments, and medical devices. Designed for cryogenic to 2100°F and for nearly all existing hostile media including acids and abrasives. He is familiar with ASME Sections II, III, V VIII, IX, B31.1, B31.3, ANSI (B16.5, 16.10, 16.34, 16.47), API, NBBI, ASTM, and several foreign Codes and Standards.
Mr. Yung is accustomed to working with super hard coatings, carbon and alloy steels, Inconel, Hasteloy, Nitronic, copper alloys, elastomers, plastics; etc., and most fabrication and manufacturing methods; from minute parts to 80 ton equipment.
He is an exceptionally diverse Mechanical Engineer; Ideal mix of engineering theory and the practical.
He recently served on the Mayors Codes Committee, to compare, evaluate, & recommend the optimum city building code.
He holds most available FAA licenses & ratings, and specializes in IFR (all weather) flying with over 4,000 hours logged. He is also a Certified SCUBA diver.
